In Hyderabad there are lot of attractive places to visit, few are the most famous places mentioned below.


Charminar: It is one of the famous and prestigious monuments of Hyderabad. It is built by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in the year 1591. It is nearly 420 years old monument built in Islamic architecture style, height of minaret is 48.7 meters(160 ft)


Falaknuma Palace: Falaknuma Palace is built by Nawab Vikar-ul-Umra, prime minister of Hyderabad and the uncle and brother-in-law of the Nizam VI, Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan Bahadur. It is one of the finest palaces in the world.


Golconda Fort: Golconda has a lot of history it was built by Kakatiya. It has been very famous for producing world famous gems like Koh-i-noor, Princie and other diamonds. It is one of the place you shouldn’t miss when visiting Hyderabad.


Chowmahalla Palace : It is a Royal palace and considered to be the place for Nizams of Hyderabad state. The palace remains as the property of Barkat Ali Khan Mukarram Jah, heir of the Nizams.


Birla Mandir: Birla mandir is built on a 280 feet high hillock called Naubath Pahad. It is a hindu temple of Lord Balaji located near to Hussain sagar.


Salar Jung Museum: It is one of the three national museums located at Darushifa on the southern bank of Musi river. It’s an art museum consists of one million objects. Art lovers will surely not going to miss visiting Salar Jung Museum if the ever visit Hyderabad.


Shivam Temple: Shivam Temple, which is built in the shape of Shiv Linga, is one of the renowned temples in Hyderabad. It was built by Late Sri Satya Sai Baba, and the temple turned out to be an immense spiritual center for the residents of Hyderabad. Adjacent to this temple, there is the famous Osmania University, which is the 3rd university in the entire South India.


Ravindra Bharathi: Ravindra Bharathi is the famous auditorium in Hyderabad, which is maintained by the Government of Telangana. Many prestigious programs and stage shows are conducted here, and the architecture of the auditorium itself stands out.


Birla Science Museum: Birla Science Museum features a Science Center, Museum, Planetarium, Dinosaurium and Art Gallery. It is a must place to visit, as it will take you into a new world.


Gandipet (Osman sagar): Osman Sagar is a lake and water reservoir, which had provided the drinking needs of the Hyderabad city. Due to the serene locations and cool breeze around the lake, it soon became a famous tourist spot. The amusement park, resorts and parks here are the prime attractions.  


Mecca Masjid: Mecca Masjid is the one of the oldest mosques in Hyderabad, and its epic architecture should be definitely cherished for at least once in a lifetime. It is within a close proximity from the famous Charminar and Chowmahalla Palace.


Keesaragutta Temple: Keesaragutta is an epic temple, wherein the Siva Lingam in the temple was installed by Lord Sri Rama himself, after killing the demon king Ravana. The place has several Siva Lingams scattered all over, which were brought by Lord Hanuman from Varanasi.


Ramoji Film City: Ramoji Film City is the largest film city in the entire world, which was built in 2000 acres by the renowned industrialist, Mr. Ramoji Rao, in the year 1996. There are numerous attractions in the film city, including lovely parks, star hotels which display the grandeur, etc. Also, many cultural events are held here for entertaining the visitors.


Hussain Sagar Lake (Tank Bund): Hussain Sagar Lake or Tank Bund is an exciting place, with a large Buddha Statue in the middle of the lake, and numerous attractions along the banks. Some of these specialties are Lumbini Park, NTR Gardens, Prasad’s IMAX, etc.  


Nehru Zoological Park: Nehru Zoological Park spreads over 380 acres of area, and it hosts various wild animals, reptiles and birds. Enthralling wildlife safaris are organized every day, in addition to the incredible museum and thrilling train ride.
