Methodist wants to curb ragging and its evil aftermaths. A college is a place for learning, innovate, and set up path for good career. There is no place for any illegal activities in the paradise of wisdom. So, we put up an anti-ragging cell, presided by the principal, Dr. V S Giridhar Akula.
Ragging is an ill treatment towards the fresher students, who stepped into the campus with dreams of bright future. They are physically humiliated and mentally tortured for a sadistic enjoyment. Methodist has a strong will to end this barbaric act, and our anti-ragging cell is instrumental in this endeavor.The fresher students are advised to bring any instances of ragging in the campus or hostel rooms to our notice, and we take stringent measures against the concerned people, such as expelling them from the college, or lodging complaint against them, so that they are slammed with fine and imprisoned. Women grievance cell at Methodist is established to support the women of the college in case of any sexual harassment, and promote awareness to ward off these things even before happening.
The sexually harassed women, be it the students, faculty and other workers of the college, can approach the women grievance cell and give a complaint against the molesters. Our fine committee will delve into the matters, and conduct a thorough interrogation to know the truth. If the allegations are proved, then we expel the accused from the college, or take the matter to the police, submit the proofs, and make them imprisoned.Our grievance cell is active throughout the day, by promoting awareness in the campus. We organize various programs to educate the women about the poor conditions which support sexual assaults, and the appropriate steps to be taken in those conditions. We also explain various tactics to ward off such situations in the first place.

The campus provides an open access Wi-Fi network throughout, with a speed of 10 Mbps Internet connection, locally networked and connected through wi-fi also to the central server are available for students for their project work and preparing seminar presentations.

Our college is located at King Koti Road, Abids, the center of the Hyderabad city. So, there are various modes of transportation available to reach our college.A number of city buses ply from various parts of the Greater Hyderabad, and the services are very frequent. The standard student bus pass is sufficient to reach Methodist from any place.
Apart from the city buses, there is a well-connected MMTS network to reach our college. By using this transportation mode, you can reach the college very quickly, since there is no problem of traffic jams.Girls are not needed to worry, as we run special buses for them. Our female students can share the buses with the grads of Stanley Women’s College, the sister college of us. Reaching Methodist is very easy, and your commuting time is quite less, since the college is located in vicinity to every place in Hyderabad
Auditorium is a place to conduct events and meetings of the college. It is used to group the students at one place, and conduct effective interaction with the staff, or the guests, who have attended for meetings or workshops. So, it needs to be spacious and convenient to hold these meetings, and we have included these design elements into our auditorium. At Methodist, the auditorium is quite spacious, and it can seat hundreds of students. The dais is big enough for several guests, and it is suitable for projecting the videos or slideshows too. We have provided centralized air condition for the comfort of the occupants.
A high quality projector is arranged with a crystal clear screen, while the screen is usually placed at the dais wall. We have also provided the required sound system, which can keep you involved in the event. The superior comfort levels of our auditorium have made many events successful.
