The MBA course at MCET was started from the A.Y:2009-10. Our department has emerged as one of the vibrant segments of our burgeoning MCET located in the very heart of the city of Hyderabad. Right from its inception the department has been playing a key role in imparting quality education to the student community. Our college is approved by AICTE and we are affiliated to Osmania University. Hence the curricula and syllabi of the two year fulltime MBA course offered with an intake of 60 students, is as per the CBCS of Osmania University norms. The specializations offered in Finance, Human Resource and Marketing Management enables students in acquiring cross-functional knowledge. We provide case-based learning methods and impart pedagogy on par with premier institutions of the nation and constantly revise the curriculum based on the industry requirements from time to time.

Dr. S. Sujatha holds an MBA with a specialization in Marketing and a minor in Human Resource Management from Andhra University, where she also earned her Ph.D. in Human Resource Management. She brings over 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration.
She began her career as Head of the MBA Department at Lords Engineering College and joined Methodist College of Engineering & Technology in 2015 as an Assistant Professor. With her dedication and academic contributions, she was promoted to Head of the Department in 2022, following the successful completion of her doctoral research.
Her professional journey includes a wide range of achievements: publication of several research papers in national and international journals, active participation in conferences, and leading various academic and co-curricular initiatives. She has played a key role in mentoring students, organizing seminars, and enhancing curriculum standards.
Known for her leadership, commitment, and vision, she continues to drive excellence and innovation within the department.
