The department of Humanities and Basic Science was established in the year 2008. It is a Multi – disciplinary department that serves the students of all branches in B.E curriculum. The Department provides in-depth knowledge in basic sciences which forms the back bone for all Engineering disciplines and also in enhancing the communication and soft-skills of the students
The department aims at doing an integrated work to improve the standards of the students and help them to achieve tremendous feats in their respective fields.
Mrs. Professor. K. Anuradha Reddy received her Master’s and Doctorate degree in Physics. She is having 28 years of immense teaching experience and presently heading the Department Of Humanities and Basic Sciences at Methodist College of Engineering and Technology. She is life member ISTE.
Her research area is Synthesis and characterization of polyvinyl alcohol doped with in organic additive. She always encourages students and faculty members to participate in Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities.
She is instrumental in motivating students and streamlining the academic activities. She has attended national workshops and symposiums and published papers in various national and international journals. She is back bone to the department
