Structural Analysis and Design using E-TABS (Hands on Experience)
A 5 day Training program on ‘Structural Analysis and Design using E-TABS (Hands on Experience)’ was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Methodist College of Engineering and Technology, in association with IMARAT CONSULTING SERVICES during 27th September to 1st October 2019. Participated students were been trained with the professionals from the consulting services. Students were nourished in the skills of using the E-Tabs Software in Civil Engineering problems. Sessions were made more interactive bringing to the point of students the importance of using technology in the design and analysis.

Career Opportunities for fresh Civil Engineering Graduates
One day seminar on ‘Career Opportunities for fresh Civil Engineering Graduates’ was organized and conducted by Department of Civil Engineering, MCET on 18th September 2019. The seminar was conducted as an occasion of Engineer’s day as honor of remembrance of Sir Mokshagundam Visveshvaraya. This seminar is being organized to provide a unique opportunity to students to be updated with career opportunities that await a fresh civil engineering graduate. The seminar was aimed for enhancing the interaction of the academic community with the industry and research institutes, with an emphasis on understanding the career opportunities that exist and skill sets required by the civil engineering students to meet the needs of the state of the art Civil Engineering practices.
