INFRASTRUCTURE:
Maintaining and utilizing physical, academic and support facilities:
Class Rooms/Laboratory
The physical facilities such as Laboratories, Classrooms, Library and Sports Complex are maintained by House Keeping under the supervision of Non-teaching Staff / Floor Supervisors. Utilization of the classrooms is facilitated to the students in working days and it is also made available to the other governmental / non-governmental organizations for conducting exams in Vacations and Leave time. The masonry and plumbing works are carried out with local skilled persons and the expenditure is incurred from Maintenance. Lab equipment are serviced by manufacturers and service personnel during summer / winter vacations. Stock registers are maintained regularly.

COMPUTERS:
- The computer centre at Methodist is a state-of-art facility, with the Wi-Fi and campus wide LAN features. We use the advanced computer systems with high end configuration, and the latest software versions.
- We understand that eminent facilities for computer centre are required for working on different software platforms. The hardware should match the requirements of various software, else running these programs is impossible. So, we provide the computers with the latest configurations. Our students can even work on high end graphics by using the advanced hardware and software at their disposal.
- For data connectivity, we use LAN for connecting the entire campus, and Wi-Fi only at the computer centre. Dedicated computers are provided for browsing the internet, and each student is allocated with the respective timings to use this facility.
- All kinds of software applications are available at the computer centre, and care is taken to update them with the new versions regularly.
IT FACILITIES:

The Institute made technology as integral part of it’s functioning since its inception and aims at providing high-quality facilities to its students so as to facilitate them to enhance their performance. To facilitate this, the institution upgrades its IT infrastructure, to keep them up to date.
The college has state of the art Computer Centers. All the computers in the centers are provided with the latest updated software and hardware. All the departments have Internet, LCD projectors, overhead projectors, printers and scanning facilities are also available through network. The teaching of technical based papers is carried out through LCD screens. Each center is equipped with uninterrupted power backup.
To meet the increasing needs of the prospectus, the periodic up gradations are:
- Systems: A total 659 PCs are provided in the campus in which 524 systems were allotted to students. The upgradation of these PCs were carried out as per the requirements of the curriculum and its upgradation, from dual core Pentium to core2duo, i3, i5 and RAM from 1GB to 8GB range subsequently. The capacity of hard disks is also augmented where ever required. The examinations’ branch and administrative sections are equipped with multi tray scanner cum printer. All the departmental heads and staff are furnished with individual workstations, printers and scanners. The computer centers have 4 servers.
- Internet: all systems in the campus are networked and ‘CAT6 cabling networking standard is being used in the campus. All the switches and routers have been upgraded from 10 / 100 Mbps to Gigabits. Currently 3 internet connections are provided in the campus with two 100 Mbps and one 150 Mbps speed.
- Wi-Fi: Since 2011 our campus became Wi-Fi enabled with 4 access points and the campus is JIO Wi-Fi enabled. Routers are provided as per requisite of the department and steadily upgraded.
- Software: Software requirements of the institute are constantly addressed by procuring upgraded versions from Dream Spark software to Microsoft Volume Licensing as per AICTE recommendations. We extensively use open source software and AICTE virtual labs.
The college encourages paper less communication among staff members. All meetings can be held from any desk. 90% of our campus is equipped with ICT enabled facilities.
