CENTRAL LIBRARY FACILITIES AND SERVICES
OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)

All library transactions are computerized with an Online Public Access Catalogue. Users can search book details by author, title, or subject and check the number of available copies for a particular title.

Computerized Issue/Return of Books

Books are issued and returned using KOHA library software with barcode technology, enabling faster transactions and easy tracking.

Extra Library Cards

Each academic year, class toppers from each branch receive an extra library card. Faculty pursuing Ph.D. degrees are granted two additional cards upon presenting relevant documents.

Book Bank

The library maintains 2,367 books in the Social Welfare Book Bank. SC/ST students can borrow up to six books per semester from this collection.

Periodical Section

Features both technical and non-technical national and international journals, displayed and available for reference by students and faculty.

Reference Section

Contains 3,424 reference books across all engineering branches, science, humanities, and English, including encyclopedias, directories, biographies, atlases, dictionaries, rare books, manuscripts, and special reports, available for consultation within the library.

Question Paper Service

Previous years’ question papers are available by year and branch in both print and soft copies, provided for photocopying.

Project Report Service

One copy of all previous years’ student projects is maintained in the library for reference.

Discussion Room

Dedicated spaces are available for students to engage in knowledge-sharing discussions.

Reading Room

Equipped with comfortable tables and chairs, the reading room has a seating capacity of 100 users.

Photocopy and Printing Services

Photocopying and printing services are offered to all library members.

Departmental Libraries

Each department has its own library, supported by the central library for acquisition and maintenance. Print journals and back volumes are transferred between central and departmental libraries.

Inter Library Loan System

The library is a member of DELNET (Developing Library Network), enabling resource sharing with over 7,700 institutions across 33 states in India and other countries.

Other Facilities

Includes reprography services, scanners, printers, and an exclusive server.
