It gives me immense pleasure to welcome all those who aspire to have a career in Engineering, a fruitful stay at our institute The MCET is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. The College is accredited by NAAC with A+ Grade and all eligible Under Graduate– B.E Programmes are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The UGC has granted autonomy to the college for ten years with effect from the Academic Year 2021-22.

Methodist College of Engineering and Technology (MCET), You will have a student friendly environment with all facilities including various Departments, state of art Laboratories, qualified and experienced faculty. We at MCET, seek to define the moral obligation of the engineer using traditional moral philosophy and describe how this obligation might be translated into a more positive definition of success. The programs offered by the institute prepare students for careers in industry or for post graduate study in engineering or related fields.

Engineering is a great outlet for imagination-the perfect zone for independent thinkers. True Engineering education is not just providing luxurious facilities to the students; it is a platform where hidden talents /imaginations are converted into real and creative world. Methodist College of Engineering & Technology (MCET), Hyderabad, a premier engineering college in the state of Telangana, since its inception in 2008, has been carrying forward the legacy of Methodist Church of India's quality education. Guiding thousands of students on their way, shaping their future and moulding them into Engineers, the country would be proud of, is the goal of the institute.

As part of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, we conduct national/international and intercollegiate level seminars conferences and workshops, encourage students to participate in technical paper presentation contests, organize lectures by experts from leading industries, conduct university sports meets etc. Many of our students regularly form part of university teams and state teams.
